A BAD day for greens…

Via

I have a confession to make.

I have not been following my diet for a week,  even though I missed the week before due to a work conference.

Um, why?

Well, I decided I was too tired to take care of myself. Yes, an oxymoron for sure. But until yesterday I had been dealing with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and while I have experienced that before, I had never had it for more than a few days.

So clearly since I was spinning around (in my head) and couldn’t even drive myself anywhere, I used that as an excuse to ignore what I was eating.

It’s not like a overindulged, but I didn’t pay attention to anything going in to my mouth.

Chocolate... It's not just for breakfast anymore!

Do you ever have those days? Where you just forge ahead and live your life, but don’t savor it?

I find that when I am watching what I eat, I truly savor my food. I pay attention to the little details, like how herbs and spices affect the way the food tastes.

Hmmm… could be a good analogy for this post that I wrote last week.

On the other hand, it could be just my happy dance because the vertigo is GONE, as of Sunday night! Hooray!
