Day 11 – Reading Benefits: Soul Searching

What do you do when you feel lost, tired, or depressed? Quite often, we reach out to God. We take some time to search for the meaning in our lives, for our purpose.

We might do this through prayer, volunteering, journaling, or meditating.

Another way we might do this is through reading.

This could be fiction – it doesn’t have to be an instruction manual!

And it could be spiritual – the Bible is the best example of this. If you need a new version of the Bible, try The Message. It is written with today’s terminology and is very easy to understand. Christ’s message is all about love, and when we soul search, we are truly looking for the peace that comes from acceptance and love, and Christ can do this for you.

So embrace your journey, be open to new things, including Christianity. Don’t let your preconceived notions stop you on your soul searching journey for love.
