I can(‘t) get (no) SATISFACTION…

Most people are familiar with the Rolling Stones and their song, “Satisfaction”, and we can all lament that we have areas in our lives that are summarily lacking in satisfaction. However, as followers of Christ, we can be assured of satisfaction, as we take to heart the words of Paul in Philippians 4:19 where he wrote, “You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.”
What a joyful statement!
Once again I am on that centrifuge of prayer/distraction that I have often written about, but I am happy to say that my BIG EVENT is over, and God helped me get through the pressures with aplomb. And as much as I loved the excitement of our fundraising event, I’m happy that I can get back to my routine, with less pressure. And I’m starting out the next 4 weeks by reading Psalms.
If you haven’t a favorite Psalm that is meaningful to you, won’t you share it?
